Digicel landline plan welcome

THE EDITOR, Sir:
The fact that Digicel will be going after the fixed-line business made front-page news on Friday, May 31.
This truly is history in the making! Finally, I will be able to go to one place to pay the bills for both my cell phone and landline. Not only that, but there is talk that Digicel may not charge for calls from Digicel-Digicel fixed lines. So, in essence, I would be trading in my current landline for a cheaper and more affordable one.
The basic cost of living is skyrocketing. Toiletries, basic medicines and food items have increased.
It is nice to know that, with the rising costs of living, there is at least one company out there that is actually thinking about its customers. I'm looking forward to those savings.
