Don't fail God, Madam PM

THE EDITOR, Sir:
This is an open letter to Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller.
I know that a lot of the decisions made in Jamaica are based on trends in the United States.
Jamaica is a Christian country. Just as God's Word said murder or theft is a sin, it clearly states that homosexuality is a sin. If we live by the Word of God, we cannot accept some parts and change others to satisfy society.
Most Americans have no clue about what is in the Word of God. Human rights do not give free rein to allow people to break God's laws.
God's Word says, "If the watchman sees the sword come and blows not the trumpet, and the people not be warned, if the sword come and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand." (Ezekiel 33:6).
If God intended that two women or two men be partners, I'm sure He would have given them the capacity to conceive children.
Jamaicans, God has made you the watchman for your country. Do not fail Him.
