The pieces collected for auction include works from artists such asBarrington Watson, Christopher Gonzalez, Alexander Cooper, George Rodney, Seya Parboosingh, Richard Hall, Robert Armstrong, Eric Cadien,Carol Watson, Carl Abrahams, Ras Dizzy, Albert Huie, Norma Harrack, Devon Garcia, David Pottinger, Webster Campbell, and scores of others.

Club director in charge of the project, Emile Finlay, explained that this year, the club took aim at significantly increasing its scholarship fund as well as completing a very significant project having to do with the repair and construction of sanitary facilities in some very needy inner-city communities in downtown Kingston.

According to Finlay, several of the artists, in the name of charity, have been willing to make concessions on their prices, and this, coupled with the donations received, will lead to some pretty attractive offerings at the event and great investment opportunities.

The evening will be completed with live jazz and some surprises, even for those who may not be bidding on the art pieces.
