Sterling board adds two members

Sterling Investments Limited, an affiliate of Sterling Asset Management, has announced the appointment of two new members to the company's board, retired businessman Michael Bernard and attorney Derek Jones, who is now based in Cayman.

They join Maxim Rochester and Charles Ross as directors.

Bernard worked with Carreras Limited for 22 years, latterly as managing director up to 2010 when he retired. He currently serves on various company boards.

Derek Jones is currently the regional managing partner for the legal firm Higgs & Johnson Cayman. He previously worked with Myers, Fletcher & Gordon for 40 years.

Maxim Rochester is a former territory senior partner of Pricewaterhouse-Coopers, with more than 30 years' experience in the auditing of Jamaica's largest banking and insurance corporations, and Ross is president and CEO of Sterling Asset Management Limited, which acts as investment manager for Sterling Investments.
