AS THE season of cheer, bells ringing and angels singing moves closer, stores in downtown Kingston are offering up to 50 per cent off prices of some of the most exquisite fashion.

Last week, stores along King Street, Orange Street, Princess Street and West Parade were preparing for the final days of shopping before Christmas.

At Twin City Super Store, 62-64 King Street, manager 'Abdo' declared that it stocks men's, women's and children's wear and much more.

"We have the best quality and nothing beats our prices," said Abdo.

"Where brand-name clothes is concerned, we have it and the fashions are just out of this world, plus we have more stock coming in this week."

At nearby Just For You Fashion, shoppers were picking up women's clothing, slippers, shoes and more.

"Right now, we are having a sale and when we say quality, you have to take a stop at Just For You Fashion," said 'Jack'.

"When shoppers come in, they will see even more than what we have here, because more stock should come in this week and, for Christmas, you will be able to get the best at good prices."

Ammar's, at 70B King Street, is a traditional stop for many shoppers. This year has been no different.

"We offer a wide range of select items and we offer different variety in the brands," said Glacia Coote, store manager.

Sharongel, at 2 and 7 Beckford Street, with a branch at 92 1/2 Princess Street, attempts to meet the needs of every shopper.

"Well, as you can see here, everything is available for the home and, with Christmas just around the corner, we are prepared to please our customers," said Marian Williams, supervisor, Beckford Street branch.

"At our other location, the fashion is one of a kind, as always, and Sharongel has the best in quality, so come and take a look at the best offers," she added.
