There is expected to be an investigation into reports that someone purporting to be a juror in the murder trial of deejay Vybz Kartel and his four co-accused turned up at the office of one of the defence lawyers in the case but was quickly turned away.

In the meantime, the jurors trying the case are to return to the Home Circuit Court today when it is expected that evidence will continue in their hearing.

The jurors should have returned yesterday after a three-week break to allow them to make preparations for the Christmas holidays and to give the court time to complete the hearing that had taken place for several days in their absence. When the court resumed yesterday, the in camera hearing was not completed.

Kartel and his co-accused have been on trial since last November for the murder of 26-year-old dancer Clive Lizard Williams of Waterford, St Catherine. They are in custody. The other accused are entertainer Shawn Campbell, also known as Shawn Storm, Kahira Jones, Shane Williams, and André St John.

The Crown is alleging that Williams was beaten to death on August 16, 2011 because of two missing guns. The prosecution's star witness testified at the trial that the last time he saw Williams, he was lying motionless on the floor at Kartel's house in Havendale, St Andrew.
