Time Unit Music recording artiste, Tactical, is celebrating his first taste of success as a professional after scoring a feature in a soon-to-be released dancehall documentary for one of Korea's biggest broadcasting networks, Korean Broadcasting System (KBS).

The feature could not have come at a better time for the 2011 'Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall' contestant, who is attempting to build his brand.

The documentary, filmed in Jamaica, will be showcased to more than one million subscribers to KBS World YouTube channel and networks.

The artiste is already creating a buzz in dancehall circles and has been getting favourable rotation for some of his singles on the airwaves.

poised to stand out

Tactical believes he is poised to stand out among young entertainers, all seeking to make the transition to stardom.

"Well mi give thanks for all that is happening in my career today, since my days on MKQ it has been nothing but trials and tribulations, but thank God, things looking up ... way up. My passion for entertaining people is what drives Tactical. I have managed to build fan bases in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Caribbean."

The deejay, who hails from Stony Hill, St Andrew, says, to date, his February 2014 release Affi Rich for Time Unit Music on the 'Money Chiss' rhythm, is his biggest radio success.

This, he says, however, will be outdone by Raving All Day & All Night, his summer release which is already turning heads on the 'Holiday Weekend' rhythm for the Time Unit Music imprint.

"Mi affi big up the DJs, ZJs, and SJs weh nah blight dancehall's future like myself ... Shout out to DJ Rodrick Howell, ZJ Dymond, DJ Cue, DJ Neil, SJ Fire Wayne, SJ Calico and all others who endorse not just me, but other young talents," said Tactical.

A music video for Affi Rich, directed by Cornelius Grant (Good Vibes Entertainment), was released on the weekend.

Viewers of the popular Wray and Nephew Contender series can have a glimpse of Tactical as his track, Contender, is the introductory song for contestant and longtime friend, Richard 'Frog' Holmes.
