Bacchanal goes 3D with a brand-new summer party called 3D-X.

Promising to deliver a three-dimensional sensory experience, 3D-X also promises EDM (electronic dance music), hip hop, and soca music combined with a LED lighting display that shares its tempo with the music.

"This is new for us," said Charmaine Franklin, director of Bacchanal Jamaica.

"While our core offering is, and will continue to be, the carnival experience, we realise that our audience has an appetite for a much wider range of music. EDM has been consistently growing in popularity, especially among our younger audiences, who are also hip hop and soca lovers, and so what better way to entertain them than giving them a heavy mix of the three genres," she said.

3D-X will feature Kamal Bankay, who is well known for his prowess in delivering high-energy EDM mixes; Renaissance, which has many years of experience with hip hop music; and DJ Richie Ras, who staked his claim as one of the top soca DJs of the 2014 carnival season. The combination of the three DJs is enough to set the event up as the top dance party for the summer season and is definitely an event not to be missed.
