It was an elegant all-white affair for Denise Williams, regional senior director of corporate communications at Columbus Business Solutions, who shared lens time with her husband, Harold Williams.

Saying goodbye is never an easy thing, but Flow Jamaica was able to say farewell to Michele English in style.

The East Lawns of Devon House were decorated in the company, colours of blue and white with a beautifully adorned sitting area at the centre of the lawns and bistro tables for cocktails and conversation.

Catered by Ashebre, those in attendance were able to enjoy some decadent appetisers like guava barbecue-glazed chicken or shrimp in coconut cream sauce; while Bars to Go never missed a beat as they offered guests the signature cocktail for the night - the 'Flowtini', a mix of Appleton Genesis and Blue Curaçao.

The night was filled with entertainment, beginning with a tribute to 'Boss Lady' by Joan Andrea Hutchinson, who spoke of English being "one of the 50 top-a-top women under 50 in Jamaica." The night continued with numerous other tributes that 'Flowed' into English's thanking and encouraging her friends and well-wishers, noting that she is looking forward to this new chapter in her life, but is happy for the tremendous experience she has had for the past eight years.

She noted that her new role will still have her maintaining a connection with Jamaica and the Columbus group. Closing her address, she introduced the new chief operating officer of Flow Jamaica, Sean Latty. This was followed by performances by Marcia Griffiths, Etana, and Romain Virgo.
