Detectives search home of Jackson’s doctor
Law enforcement officials in the United States today searched the home of Michael Jackson’s former doctor as part of the investigations into the pop star’s death.
Detectives from Houston, Texas, the Los Angeles police department and agents form the Drug Enforcement Administration issued a search warrant on Jackson’s doctor, Dr. Conrod Murray.
The warrant indicated in part that the investigators were searching for evidence of manslaughter.
Dr. Murray was with Jackson when he died on June 25.
His lawyer, Ed Chernoff, disclosed that the search team removed a forensic image of a business computer hard drive and 21 documents from his client’s home.
Mr. Chernoff says his client will continue to coorporate with investigators.

The Los Angeles County coroner is awaiting the results of toxicology results to determine the cause of death, while the city police department is looking at the possibility of criminal charges.
