Second tropical depression develops

The Miami based National Hurricane Centre is monitoring a tropical depression that has formed over the eastern Atlantic Ocean.



The center of the depression was located about 350 miles or 560 kilometers west of the Cape Verde Islands off the African coast.



Its moving towards the west at about 12 miles per hour (20km/h)



This general motion is expected to continue over the next couple of hours but could strengthen over the next 24 hours.
