Flood kills 13

At least 13 people are reported dead following 3 days of heavy rains and flooding in central United States.



Hundreds of homes have also been evacuated as a result of the flooding.



The National Weather Service has issued flash flood warnings from Texas extending to Pennsylvania.



Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, Ohio and Kentucky, are said to be the worst hit with rainfall of up to 10 inches in some areas.



Missouri Governor, Matt Blunt has asked for federal help for 70 counties and the City of St. Louis.
