A major parliamentary inquiry completed in Britain revealed record levels of immigration are bringing little or no economic benefit to the country.
The House of Lords Economic Affairs Committee said the government is overstating the benefits of immigration.
According to the government, Britain\'s economy is benefiting from immigration by 6 billion pounds a year.
However, the Economic Affairs Committee is disputing the government’s claims.
The Committee is reportedly lobbying for a cap on future immigration.
