The leader of Britain\'s main opposition party of the Conservatives is calling for black fathers in the United Kingdom to take more responsibility for their families.

David Cameron’s remarks follow a heated debate in the UK that the breakdown in the family has contributed to the spiral in knife crimes in the Afro-Caribbean community.

England, and more particularly London has reportedly been seeing a spate of fatal stabbings involving teenagers, many of them of Caribbean background.

Some commentators have said the black community needs to start addressing some realities, including the issue of black men abandoning their families.
