Keith Duncan to lead Caymanas divestment team

Finance Minister Dr Peter Phillips has selected a new team leader for the divestment of the state-owned horse racing company.



The new Caymanas Track Enterprise Team (CTET) will be chaired by Keith Duncan, Group Chief Executive Officer of Jamaica Money Market Brokers.



He replaces Richard Byles, the president and CEO of Sagicor Life Jamaica, who was unable to assume the position of chairman when Cabinet gave the approval in December 2012, for the establishment of CTET, the ministry said Thursday.



Patrick Ellis has also been added to the team.



The unchanged members include Joseph A. Matalon, Linton Walters, Gary Peart, Walter Scott, and Lloyd Duncan. CTET has also includes representatives from the Ministry of Finance and Planning, the Attorney

General's Chambers and the Development Bank of Jamaica.
