Barbados PM to announce Cabinet

Prime Minister of Barbados, David Thompson is expected to announce his cabinet today.



Mr. Thompson said he would be putting in place a team that can give immediate effect to a number of key pledges made in his manifesto.



The promises include measures to ease Barbadian consumers from the rising cost of living and affordable housing.



Mr. Thompson’s Democratic Labour Party (DLP) won 20 of the 30 seats in the general election on Tuesday.
