An avalanche in northeast Turkey has killed 10 climbers.

Seven others who were also climbing at the time survived.

However two of them are still in hospital.

It’s reported that the avalanche struck the climbers were at 2, 200 feet above sea level.

Officials said unusually warm temperatures now loosening the snow might have caused the avalanche.
