US immigration to use sting ops

The Consul General for St. Vincent and the Grenadines in New York is warning Caribbean nationals about a new plan by the US immigration to deport illegal migrants.



Cosmus Cozier said he has been receiving reports, that several Caribbean nationals are being nabbed through a sting operation under the new plan.



He is also advising Caribbean nationals to have their identification and other related documents, when they are in the United States.



According to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, more than 35,000 illegal immigrants and unauthorised workers have been arrested.
