Liat management to meet LIALPA

The management of regional carrier Liat is to meet with the Leeward Islands Airline Pilots Association (LIALPA) today in an attempt to reach agreement on an ongoing pay dispute.

The pilots are also threatening industrial action over claims that the airline is considering big bonuses for management.

However the company has denied those statements.

LIALPA says the airline must pay a fair wage, which should be no less than that of their colleagues in the region.
