The leader of the main opposition party in St. Kitts and Nevis, Lindsay Grant is cautioning Prime Minister Dr Denzil Douglas against making any changes to the constituency boundaries.

Mr Grant says his party will seriously challenge any change to the boundaries.

Earlier this week, Prime Minister Douglas announced that there was need for greater equity among the constituencies in the country.

However, the opposition leader claims that Mr. Douglas was pursuing this move because his is lagging behind in election polls.

St. Kitts and Nevis is due to have a general election this year and there are speculations that Prime Minister Douglas may announce the date soon.
