The government of Trinidad and Tobago has denied an allegation that the Integrity Commission is investigating a senior government member.

Former Attorney General, Ramesh Lawrence Maharaj made the allegation, but Prime Minister Patrick Manning said it is not true.

Mr. Maharaj is insisting that the Integrity Commission is investigating a minister in connection with an US$8 million bank account he has in the United States.

He is also claiming that the police have already questioned the minister.
