Not even the inclement weather could dampen the lively spirit of patrons who turned out Monday for the annual Emancipation Day Donkey Racing in Top Hill, St Catherine.

Names such as 'Star Boy', 'Beer', 'Radigon', 'Blue' and 'Long Distant Stulla', were etched firmly in the minds of those who turned out.

"The only concern we have now is to see the thing getting too big. We now need sponsorship for next year, " Ferdinand Mighton, one of the organisers, said.
