St. Kitts & Nevis appoint Police Commissioner

St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister, Dr. Denzil Douglas has announced that Austin Williams is the nations new Police Commissioner.
He will succeed Robert Jeffers who will be going on pre-retirement leave.
It is understood that the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Meredith Charles is also retiring.
The new Deputy Commissioner of Police will be Stafford Liburd and the two Assistant Commissioners, Joseph Liburd and Joseph Richardson.
Austin Williams will take office in February.
