St. Vincent and the Grenadines Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has issued a stern warning to gangs following the launch of a major anti-crime operation, yesterday.

While not providing details, Dr. Gonsalves says the operation will be assisted by police officers from the Barbados based Regional Security System and Trinidad and Tobago.

Prime Minister Gonsalves is adamant that criminal gangs and drug pushers will be brought down with the force of the law.

He says he’s concerned at the level of criminality across the region and has vowed to bring crime in St. Vincent under control.

The St. Vincent prime minister says his administration will not shy away from using coercive force to rid the country of crime.
