WESTERN BUREAU:

The word OPULENCE was written boldly in gold, depicting the richness of the Digicel 'by invitation only' party last Saturday afternoon at the Seawind Beach Club in Montego Bay, St James.

The event was held in collaboration with Secrets Resorts, and those fortunate enough to be included on the guest list were in for a treat.

It is not a stretch to declare the chic affair one of the best parties to hit the Second City in 2016.

With seven months gone in the year, those coming after last Saturday's event will have to come good.

Digicel had taken a one-year break from hosting the party, so the return was sweet for those who complained of withdrawal symptoms in 2015. The mobile giant returned with a vengeance, and this was evidenced by the great vibe and music that stirred the loins and satisfied the soul.

Guests were treated to a red-carpet entry, mimosas, and fabulous food stations.

There was nothing to beat this party, which had everyone dancing to some of the biggest names in dancehall, reggae, hip hop, soul, soca, and salsa.
