UPDATE: Four sustain burns after explosion at illegal LPG refilling plant

Four people sustained third degree burns to the body after an explosion at an illegal LPG refilling plant on Jacques Road, off Mountain View Avenue in St Andrew this afternoon.

The victims comprise one adult and three teenagers. Their identities have not yet been released.

The lawmen say the gas refilling facility was set up near a house. Two motor vehicles and a motorcycle were also destroyed by the fire. 

Investigators and fire fighters are still at the scene of the fire which started at about 2:45 this afternoon.
