NCB Foundation’s Jamilia Crooks poses with two winners at the Council of Voluntary Social Services Summer Games 2017, held in July. This year’s games allowed at-risk youths, both able-bodied and disabled, a chance to represent their communities in various sporting events sponsored by the foundation.

The Council of Voluntary Social Services (CVSS) Summer Games, an annual event, caters to children and young adults aged 10 to 25 years, providing a platform to reach and engage youths who ordinarily would not have the chance to participate in a national sporting meet.

The recent games saw at-risk young people skip, run, kick and hop their way to victory as they competed for their communities. The NCB Foundation partnered with CVSS, the nation's largest and oldest umbrella non-governmental organisation, donating $150,000 towards the initiative in alignment with its focus on sports and community development.
