The St Andrew Parish Church will come alive on October 8 as some of the most talented men in classical music will display their talents at a concert in aid of the church.

Dubbed 'Men perform for Christ', the event will see performances from the likes of the Nexus Chorale, Errol Lee and the Bare Essentials, Phillip Supersad and the Akwaaba Drummers, master trumpeter Mickey Hanson, Harold Davis, noted tenor Commander John McFarlane, Mario Evon, Rev Larius Lewis and Audley Davidson, organist and choirmaster of the Kingston College Chapel Choir.

With a line-up that boasts some of the most experienced performers in classical music, the event is expected to garner huge support.

Proceeds from the concert will assist in the continued upgrading of the physical plant of the historic church, allowing it to continue supporting the numerous outreach programmes it spearheads.

The concert is set to begin at 5 p.m.
