Lisbeth Salander, cult figure and title character of the acclaimed Millennium book series created by Stieg Larsson, returns to the screen in The Girl in the Spider's Web, a first-time adaptation of the recent global bestseller. Golden Globe Award winner Claire Foy plays the outcast vigilante defender who finds herself caught in a web of spies, cyber criminals and corrupt government officials, along with journalist Mikael Blomkvist.

The Girl in The Spider's Web is a sequel to David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and the second installment in the American-produced Millennium film series.

The crime thriller is directed by Fede Alvarez and written by Steven Knight.
