Credit Union Financial Reality Month ended on a high at the Montego Bay Cultural Centre in Sam Sharpe Square last Friday. Approximately 150 students invited by credit unions converged on the centre for the Youth Reality Fair. It was a day filled with activities, which included a shopping experience in which students had to manage budgets, a real talk about the dangers of the Internet and a talent show. The Reality Fair was the third of its kind organised by the Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League to culminate a month of activities surrounding financial literacy. Here are some highlights from the fair.
