On July 1, the first official day of ‘outside’ for the entertainment sector since its closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport hosted the world premiere of the docufilm, Dennis Emmanuel Brown: The Crown Prince of Reggae; the Man and the Music, indoors at the Little Theatre. The docufilm, commissioned by that ministry, was produced by Judith Bodley, with the portfolio minister, Olivia ‘Babsy’ Grange, as executive producer. Well supported by the players in the industry, the gala event was staged in keeping with the requirements of the Disaster Risk Management Act, with COVID wardens in place.
