Christopher Samuda will serve a second term as president of the Jamaica Olympic Association (JOA).

The incumbent, Samuda, defeated challenger Alan Beckford by a final count of 40-10 in the JOA elections held at their Extraordinary General Meeting on Saturday.

Samuda was first elected to the post in 2017, replacing outgoing president Mike Fennell. Samuda's re-election comes two weeks before the start of the Tokyo Olympics.
