Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Wellness, Juliet Cuthbert-Flynn (centre), looks at one of 23 ventilators that were donated by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, along with other medical supplies, to Jamaica to assist in combating the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The items, which are valued at over $32 million, were virtually handed over during a ceremony at the New Kingston offices of the Ministry of Health and Wellness on July 29. Also participating in the ceremony were Executive Director of the Health and Wellness Ministry’s Health for Life and Wellness Foundation, Courtney Cephas (left); and State Minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator Leslie Campbell.
