Appleton Estate named Second-Best Caribbean Rum Distillery

Appleton Estate was named the Second-Best Caribbean Rum Distillery by USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

Sint Maarten’s Topper’s Rhum was given the top spot.

A panel of experts partnered with 10Best editors to pick the initial nominees, and the top 10 winners were determined by popular vote.

10Best Readers’ Choice Awards highlight the best of the best in contests covering categories such as destinations, food and drink, hotels, and things to do.

The top 10 winners in the category Best Caribbean Rum Distillery are: Topper’s Rhum - Sint Maarten; Appleton Estate – Jamaica; Ron del Barrilito – Puerto Rico; Casa Bacardi – Puerto Rico; Clarke’s Court Rum – Grenada; John Watling’s Distillery – Nassau, Bahamas; Cadushy Distillery – Bonaire; Callwood Rum Distillery – Tortola, British Virgin Islands; Demerara Distillers – Guyana; and St Nicholas Abbey – Barbados.

This is the second acknowledgement for Appleton Estate in two months. In February, in the prestigious Drinks International Brands Report, Appleton Estate was named the number five best-selling and number four top trending rums in the world.
