The token was an expressiion of gratitude for the opportunity to foster connections and explore collaborative ventures, during a visit to the Panamanian embassy that was arranged by the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association (JMEA), which took a significant step in bolstering trade relations between Jamaica and Panama by arranging a courtesy visit. The visit centred on exploring distinctive prospects for regional exporters to deepen the presence of Jamaican companies in Latin American markets and establish fresh partnerships to expand and diversify local exports further. A focal point of the discussions was the upcoming Exposición Comercial Internacional (EXPOCOMER), which is scheduled for March 5-7, where the JMEA will lead a team of Jamaican companies. The delegation includes Caribbean Foods Ltd, Home Choice Enterprise Ltd, P.A. Benjamin Manufacturing Co Ltd, and PepsiCola Jamaica Bottling Company Ltd.
