From honouring Jamaican youths to crowning a new queen, the weekend was filled with anticipation and excellence. Saturday witnessed the transformation of the lawns of Jamaica House for the Prime Minister National Youth Awards for Excellence, where attendees united to celebrate more than 20 distinguished recipients. The festivities extended into Sunday night with the grand coronation for Miss Universe Jamaica East, culminating in Keri-Ann Greenwood’s crowning as the new queen.
