JAAA Trials | McLeod soars to men's long jump title

Carey McLeod was crowned national long jump champion at the ongoing junior and senior championships at the National Stadium on Saturday.
McLeod, who finished fourth at last year's World Championships, managed to leap a distance of 8.38 metres en route to victory.
Wayne Pinnock finished second with an 8.27-metre effort, while Shawn-D Thompson rounded off the top three finishers with his mark of 8.08 metres.
Two-time national champion Tajay Gayle had to settle for fourth with his 7.98 metre effort.
