Sections of some communities in Grange Hill, Westmoreland under curfew

A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of the communities of Geneva, Top Lincoln, Kings Valley, Bell Isle Road and Crowder in Grange Hill, Westmoreland.

The curfew began at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18 and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20.

The boundaries of the curfew are:

North: North along an imaginary line from Peggy Barry Primary School to the quarry in the Kings Valley community.

East: East along an imaginary line from the Kings Valley community to the pump house at Bull Strode.

South: South along an imaginary line from the pump house at Bull Strode to the cane interval within Fullersfield community.

West: West along an imaginary line from the cane interval within the Fullersfield community to Peggy Barry Primary School.

During the curfew, all persons are required to remain within their premises unless authorised by the ground commander.
