The Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ) is alerting the public about a misleading social media post using its logo to falsely advertise an "Employment Recruitment Drive" promising daily wages.

"DBJ has not initiated or endorsed any such recruitment drive, nor are we affiliated with any individual or organisation promoting this message," the entity said in a statement on Wednesday.

The bank is urging the public to ignore the false information and avoid sharing or engaging with the post.

It said all DBJ communications will only come through verified channels, and the matter has been reported to authorities.
