Telecommunications giant LIME brought their Christmas Mission vibes to two major St Catherine communities last weekend, where the company hosted two fun days to start the excitement leading up to the Christmas holiday.

On Saturday, December 7, LIME transformed the Ewarton football field into a fun-filled wonderland, granting free access to the children of Ewarton and its surrounding communities.

The telecoms company replicated the Ewarton idea on Sunday, December 8, at the Bridgeport High School for the Portmore edition of the community fun day, which saw the attendance of hundreds of children as well as parents and guardians.

Children enjoyed face painting, sports competitions, board games, fun rides, and a surprise visit from Santa Claus, as the telecommunications company also treated the first 500 children to complementary cotton candy on entry at both venues.

"We set out on a mission to spread the feeling of Christmas throughout these two communities, and I am happy to report that these fun days were a success and the LIME team had a blast with our patrons.

"Family-oriented activities can be costly and we created a fun family-friendly setting, where both adults and children equally enjoyed in Ewarton and Portmore last weekend," said Stephen Miller, sponsorship manager, LIME.
