Three explosions in Sierra Leone

At least 17 bodies have been recovered following three explosions in the centre of the Sierra Leone capital, Freetown.

The blasts occurred in a shop on Free Street at the heart of the city.

Human body parts littered the road outside the building.

Reports say the cause of the blasts may have been a gas leak.

The main government hospital has had to open wards to cope with the number of casualties.
