Antigua and Barbuda to investigate Island\'s main prison

The Antigua and Barbuda government has launched an investigation and established a committee to review allegations of abuse at the Island’s main prison.
Female officers recently alleged to the media that their superiors have been harassing them sexually.
Justice Minister, Colin Derrick said the three-member committee, led by Pastor, Dr. Rosa Lee, would probe the allegations made by the female officers in the media.
The other members of the committee are Bishop Dr. Kingsley Lewis and Shelia Roseau, Head of the Gender Affairs Division.
The Justice Minister said the committee has until February 29, to complete its investigations and submit a report.
Superintendent of Prisons, Eric Henry denied the allegations.
