Senator Barack Obama yesterday became the first African American to be nominated for president of the United States.

Senator Obama declared himself the Democratic nominee after he received the number of delegates to be nominated for president.

In yesterday’s final primaries, Senator Obama took the State of Montana, while his rival Hillary Clinton took Daytona.

Last night, Mrs. Clinton refused to concede even as she offered congratulation to Senator Obama.

Addressing Republicans in Minnesota Senator Obama hinted that Mrs. Clinton would play a role in a hypothetical Obama administration.
