UK shadow minister arrested

The Conservative immigration spokesman in the United Kingdom, Damian Green, was arrested yesterday and his house and Commons office searched by police.
The Metropolitan police say Green was held on suspicion of conspiring to commit misconduct in a public office.
The Conservatives say he denies any wrongdoing.
This incident is believed to be connected to the arrest, ten days ago, of a man suspected of being a whistleblower in the Home Office.
