Kingston-based attorney shot

A Kingston-based attorney-at-law is said to be recovering after an armed man shot him at his home early Monday morning.

According to a source, the attorney came out of his vehicle and was headed inside his house when an armed man approached him and demanded several items.

It is said that the man also demanded to enter his house; however, the attorney would not allow him to.

Shots were reportedly fired hitting the attorney.

He was taken to hospital and treated for his injuries.

It is believed that robbery was the motive for the attack.

The St Andrew North Police are investigating the shooting.
