As part of the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission's Proud and Free at 53 celebrations, on Monday, the Independence Village at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre came alive with a cultural fashion show.

Dubbed Fashion Greets Music, the beautiful 2015 Miss Universe Jamaica contestants modelled gorgeous designs by Neah Lis, Courtney Washington, Shades of Africa, Mutamba, Minka, and Andrea Lindo.

The ladies dazzled in an array of vibrant designs, some masterfully using the black, green and gold. But it was the denim-meets-bandana segment that was the show stopper. The designs were a merger of traditional bandana and staple denim, creating designs the likes of which many have not seen before.

Hosted by the effervescent Fae Ellington, the show also took patrons on a trip down memory lane, with clips from Lime Tree Lane. It was a perfect evening. Here are the highlights.
