Ferguson caves to public pressure, health audit to be released

Minister of Health, Dr Fenton Ferguson has caved to public pressure and announced today that the controversial audit into the public healthcare system is to be released.

There have been repeated calls for the release of the report.

However, the Health Minister Dr Fenton Ferguson had insisted that the report would not be made public as it would lead to public prejudices against some health institutions.

According to a source, the health minister was instructed by the cabinet to review his decision to make the report public yesterday.

Ferguson made the announcement to release the report this morning at a contract signing at the Knutsford Court Hotel.
