UK band to do tribute show in Marley's memory
UK's leading tribute act known as Legend, is getting ready to perform a show in memory of the late reggae legend, Bob Marley.
The group, Legend, consists of seven musicians and singers led by Michael Anton Phillips. Their upcoming show is dedicated to the life and music of Bob Marley and according to UK media, it is a must-see for Marley fans.
The band, hailed as 'The Ultimate Bob Marley experience', will cover songs like, Is This Love, No Woman No Cry, I Shot The Sheriff, Jamming and Could You Be Loved, on their show set for February 20.
Reggae icon
Aside from covering music from the catalogue of the late reggae icon, the band has also worked with a number of other reggae musicians including The Mighty Diamonds, The Original Wailers, Dennis Brown, Burning Spear, Apache Indian, Errol Dunkley, George and Desmond Decker and Musical Youth.
They have toured the United States, Canada, South Africa and all over Europe with their tribute act. Legend - A Tribute To The Music of Bob Marley, will be at the Theatre Ffwrnes in Llanelli on Saturday, February 20. The show is expected to get underway at 8 p.m.
