Two American visitors were this morning killed in a three-vehicle collision in St Ann.
They have been identified as Traverso Dujon and Dwayne Malcolm, both of Florida, in the United States.
Two other persons who were injured in the collision have been admitted to hospital in stable condition.
According to police reports, Dujon and Malcolm were passengers in a motor vehicle that was travelling along the Discovery Bay main road.
The St Ann Police say the driver lost control of the vehicle, sending it crashing into a trailer and a motorcar travelling in the opposite direction.
The two Americans were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
Since the start of the year, more than 200 people have died on the nation’s roadways.
