Quiz battle rages on

St Hugh's Prep and St Ann's Bay Primary will be the first teams to enter the combat zone in this the third week of TVJ's Junior Schools' Challenge Quiz.

This is the sixth time that St Hugh's Prep is entering the competition. The team has a strong support system behind it. Coach Valda Hamilton said parents play a great role in preparing the team for the competition.

"Parents come in and they will assist in coaching, and you also have parents who will give the team motivational speeches," Hamilton said.

She also noted that the team had been preparing since January, and members were upbeat about playing their first match of the season against St Ann's Bay Primary. The match, which takes place today at 6:30 p.m., is a must-see.

Other matches to be played this week

- On Tuesday, Crescent Primary versus Constant Spring Primary.

- On Wednesday, things heat up with St Richard's Primary and Knox Junior School.

- Emmanuel Christian Academy and St Aloysius Primary will challenge each other on Thursday.

- The final match for the week will be between Angel's Primary and Bridgeport Primary.
